Fibrosarcoma

Fibrosarcoma is a relatively rare type of cancer that primarily affects the fibrous connective tissue in the body. This cancer arises from malignant fibroblasts, which are cells responsible for producing collagen, a key component of connective tissues.

Fibrosarcoma can develop in various locations in the body, including bone, soft tissues, and organs. It commonly occurs in the extremities, such as the arms or legs, but can also affect the trunk or head and neck regions.
